We value and respect the privacy of our customers.  We reserve the right to refine our Privacy Policy from time to time.

Your privacy is very important to us. Qizmit LLC maintains strict customer information privacy policies and uses state of the art technologies to safeguard customer information and communications from unauthorized intrusions. Qizmit LLC has put in place the following Privacy Policy to protect customer information. Except as specifically modified in a Customer Agreement, this policy covers Qizmit LLC and its corporate affiliates, and applies to all customer information that Qizmit LLC obtains when a customer registers for or uses a Qizmit LLC online service, including visiting a Qizmit LLC owned and controlled web site ("Qizmit LLC Web Site").

Customer Information

Online privacy concerns focus on the protection of "customer information" which a customer reasonably expects to be kept private. "Customer information" is information which can be associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for example, a customer's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and information about online activities that are directly linked to them. As is common practice, we collect customer information, such as name, address, telephone number, and a variety of other information in the course of billing and providing marketing and mailing services to a customer.

Information Collected and Stored Automatically

In the course of using our Web site and Internet services, we also automatically track certain information about your visit. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on our site or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address. We use this information in the normal operation of the site and we may disclose this information only on an aggregated basis. Collection and Use

Qizmit LLC will collect and use customer information for billing purposes, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, or to create products and services that better meet your needs. This means that Qizmit LLC may use your customer information, but we will not disclose your customer information to third parties who want to market products to you. Qizmit LLC may contact you from time to time by means of e-mail, postal mail or by other available means regarding the service you are registered for.

Text Messaging (SMS)

What we collect. If you add your mobile phone number to your Qizmit account, we collect that number; the text messages you send to us and the replies we send you; one-time verification codes; message delivery status, dates and times; the carrier and country information our messaging provider returns; and a record of when and how you opted in and, if you did, opted out.

How we use it. We use this information only to send you the messages you signed up for - one-time verification and security codes, replies from Alice (our AI assistant) to the questions you text us, and account alerts and notifications you chose to receive - and to keep proof of your consent, troubleshoot delivery, protect your account and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who handles it. We use a messaging service provider (Twilio, Inc.) to send and receive text messages on our behalf; it processes your number and messages only to deliver them. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Your choices. Message frequency varies with how you use Qizmit and the alerts you select. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time (reply HELP for help), or remove your number on your account page. We keep message records only as long as needed to run the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify them.

Alice, Identic and Your Conversations

Chats with Alice, and the memories and imported conversations you keep in Identic, are stored under your account and are private to you. We do not sell them and we do not read them except as needed to operate and secure the service or as required by law. Alice answers with a model we run ourselves unless you choose otherwise. If you add your own API key for a third-party model provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or Google), your questions are sent to that provider under your own account and their terms; your memories and past conversations are sent to that provider only if you turn that on for that provider. Your keys are stored encrypted, are used only for your own requests, and can be removed at any time.

Founding Waitlist (E-mail)

If you join the founding waitlist for a Qizmit portal, we store your e-mail address, the portal you chose, how you relate to it, the optional note you write, the wording you agreed to, when you agreed, and the address your request came from. We use it only to contact you about the portal you selected, including preview invitations, product updates and requests for feedback. The waitlist is for e-mail only and never signs you up for text messages; text messaging has its own separate opt-in. Joining does not create an account. You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to support@qizmit.com. We do not sell or share your waitlist information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Disclosure

Except as provided in this policy, Qizmit LLC will not sell, trade, rent or disclose to third parties any customer information derived from the registration for or use of a Qizmit LLC online service -- including customer names and addresses -- without the consent of the customer except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others. When Qizmit LLC uses other agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, Qizmit LLC will ensure that such agents, contractors or companies protect your customer information consistent with this Policy.

Security

Qizmit LLC has implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your customer information from unauthorized access or improper use, and we will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.

E-mail and Postal Mail Contents

Qizmit LLC will not read or disclose to third parties private postal or electronic communications that are transmitted using Qizmit LLC services except as required to operate the service or as otherwise authorized by law.

We consider your mailing lists and documents to be your private information. All document and list files you submit will be used solely for the production of your mailings. Electronic information submitted by you is securely stored only for the time specified in our Terms of Service after such time data is purged from our system.

Data Center and Production Center Security

Qizmit LLC's operates "in the cloud"/on the internet and relies on third parties to provide critical technological support.  We only host our servers with third parties whose physical facilities are very secure. Access to servers is restricted to only selected employees that need access to the data for purposes of performing business functions.  When Qizmit LLC uses other contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, we will ensure that such agents, contractors or companies protect your information consistent with this Policy.

Improper Conduct

Third Party Collectors of Information

Our policy addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent that you disclose your information on other third party sites, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the personal information. In the case of dealers and resellers of Qizmit LLC services or Qizmit LLC co-branded services, we exercise commercially reasonable efforts to cause such persons to honor the provisions of this privacy policy, but we cannot be held responsible if they fail to do so. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of all third parties to which you disclose your personal information.

Cookies

Like most Web sites, Qizmit LLC sometimes makes use of session "cookies." Cookies are files written to a user's hard disk and read by server programs to inform a Web site if the user has previously visited that site. We use cookies to continually enhance your Qizmit LLC experience.
